Some cards with various states of the United States written on them are examined.

A participant holds the name cards themselves.

They name any number, 1-6 inclusive, and count off that number of cards themselves. They turn over the cards to check that the names on each card are all different. They are. There is nothing funny about the cards, or the counting the participant does.

Having counted to their number, they look at the name of the state they arrived at, and show it around.

The rest of the cards are examined too.

Perhaps they stopped on the state of New Jersey.

The facedown postcard that has been in full view from the start, and never touched, is turned over to show that it is indeed a postcard that reads "Welcome to NEW JERSEY" with a full color photo.
