SKULLY is something special.

Skully is part jumping-floating-ghost, part whispering vent figure, part comedy, part yes/no answer routine, part surprise revelation, and an unexpected vanish to end it all.

Skully is one those rare gems. You don't have to be a comedian to get laughs with it. You don't have to be a real ventriloquist to do a vent-style sort of act. You don't need any threads, sticks, or other things to make a skull jump or float (ala no gimmick Zombie). You can make a whole act out of Skully. Yet it fits into your pocket.

EFFECT AND ROUTINE: Here is the main routine, though you are sure to come up with your own uses too. A bill, ring or small item vanishes. "I'm so sorry. I guess it is in the spirit realm. Got a spirit handy?" The performer takes out a black silk and gathers it to form a pocket. Soon "something" violently jumps around inside the silk handkerchief. The performer slaps it until it stops dead. "It's okay. He's dead anyway."

The performer uncovers what is inside. It is a small skull. Suddenly, the skull floats up and around carrying the silk with it like a cowl. The performer quickly recovers it.

"This is Skully. You can ask any yes or no question and he will answer you, right Skully?"

The skull shakes his head no or makes a bit of a frown.

Some questions are asked. Skully shakes his head yes or no. Then suddenly Skully seems to be whispering something. The performer holds Skully up to hear him, and repeats what it said. What does he say? That's up to YOU! The easiest hilarious but fake vent routine you will ever do.

Skully is asked what happened to the lost item. Skully's bone face becomes very animated, making strange faces and grunting sounds (?) Sometimes Skully "drops a bone" from thinking too hard. Sometimes a little bone comes out of his mouth! "He says he had chicken."

After much hilarity, the lost item is found inside Skully's mouth!

"Is that yours? Are you sure? Great!"

Then suddenly Skully disappears, leaving only the black silk handkerchief behind.

"I guess he ghosted us."

A full act you can put in your jeans, small close-up case, or jacket pocket.

 

There really is no end to what you will do with Skully.

He'll make you look like a comedian, a magician, a mentalist (if you want), a puppet master, and a true entertainer.

Best of all Skully is easy to do. Basic moves (like a ring vanish) that you know, and few very other simple things.

Mostly Skully is about letting YOU entertain with a built-in hilarious prop that does magical stuff with you.
