Effect: The mentalist shows an envelope or a bill which they claim is their bet. "If I lose, I owe you $100."

The mentalist displays a royal flush poker hand, a stack of chips, and a die.

The participant rolls the die as much as they like until they settle on one a number. It is not a loaded or mismarked die.

That chosen number is used to count down to a poker chip in the stack, and to one of the cards in the poker hand. This counting is completely fair looking. The participant can do the counting in their own hands. There is no sleight of hand.

Let's say the participant counted to a $100 poker chip, and the Queen of Spades as a card.

The bill bet is opened to show the prediction reads "$100 on the Queen of Spades"!

If the bet is inside the envelope it too can be examined. There is nothing else inside.

The prediction is always correct.

There are no sleights needed.

This is a double-whammy effect that seems impossible unless it really is influence or mind reading.
